Hello I installed the nowsms and when I installed the gsm modem i had this message modem doesn't support sms my modem is wavecom. thank for help | |||

Is there a PIN configured for the SIM card in the modem? If there is, try putting the SIM into a phone, and remove the PIN. Other than that, do you perhaps have an internal modem in the PC that you have forgotten about, and maybe you are mistakenly connecting to this instead of the Wavecom? If that is not the case, try connecting to the COM port that has the modem attached using HyperTerminal. Type ATZ and press Enter, and the modem should respond OK. Next, try issuing the command AT+CSMS=0 ... that is the command that NowSMS uses to test to see whether or not the modem supports SMS. Is that command returning an error? -bn | |||
