how do I enable and configure nowsms to do it and also what is the cost to me for every sms sent and gprs charges? | |||

Within NowSMS, there is a configuration setting for each GSM modem. It can be found if you go to the "SMSC" page of the configuration dialog, highlight the modem, and press "Properties". After applying the change, verify that you are still able to send SMS messages properly. Usually the modem will fallback to SMS over GSM if SMS over GPRS is not available on your operator's network. However, some mobile operators have SMS over GPRS partially implemented, and your messages will disappear into a black hole. Generally speaking, most operators charge the same fee whether you are sending over GPRS or GSM. You are not charged any GPRS fees, only the SMS charges. (SMS over GPRS occurs at a lower layer in the protocols, so you don't actually connect to an APN, which is when the GPRS charging starts.) -bn | |||
