Hello,
the "Received SMS Command" feature allows me to start a process when a SMS arrives.
If I insert a URL I can even connect to a WEB page (e.g. ASP script) which is called with given parameters (e.g. http://whatever.com/we.asp?sender=@@SENDER...&udh=@@UDH@@)

Now my question:
For a project, where several NOW SMS GW are in use we need a proxy definition there (actually it would be enough, if the standard windows proxy definition would be used when building up the IP connection by NOWSMS).
Is this possible to define?
Are there some workarounds?
Will this be possible in a future version (if yes, when)?

Thx for any answers,
br,
Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

I think we could do this easily enough. I'm hesitant to just use the standard Windows proxy definition, as many people have NowSMS processing 2-way commands against internal servers.

So if we defaulted to routing everything through the proxy defined in the standard Windows configuration, that could cause problems.

But we could add a configuration parameter to route the 2-way commands through an HTTP proxy. Send an e-mail to nowsms@now.co.uk referencing this issue, adn we'll try to get this into the development queue and let you know when it is ready.
