First of all thanks for your product, we are using it here and it works very well. We can send sms, and mms in a very efficient way, and it works !

Now I would like to ask you a question:

Is it possible to receive a single MMS message containing some pictures and text ... but with this special embedded functionally: One of the page would actually have a link (just like the WAP Push functionality), inviting the user to go to a specific web link (a WAP application).

Is this possible ???

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Well, based upon the SMIL specification, it should be possible. MMS uses the basic profile of SMIL v2.0.

You can find the SMIL spec at: http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-smil20-20010807/smil20.html

Support for an "a href" element, similar to what is used in HTML, is defined in the Linking Module for SMIL v2.0, and it is even included in the "BasicLinking" Module for SMIL Basic.

However, that said ... my experience has been that I haven't found a phone which supports this element. Actual SMIL support in MMS clients seems to be even more limited than SMIL basic.

You would think that this would be a very useful link to have in an MMS message. Maybe we will see it supported in more future MMS clients.
