1. Licenses are additive, so the easiest thing to do is to purchase an additional license. For example, you can add a 12 per minute license to an existing 12 per minute license to get 24 per minute. (If you specifically think you want to purchase a 12, and move to a 30 in the future, talk to your sales contact and they may be able to structure an offer for the price difference for a period of time.)

2. On the Greek character issue, I assume you're referring to the problem mentioned in the following thread:

http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/206.html

The current version (v4.20) does include a fix for this issue, as described at this link:

http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/53/279.html

The basic issue is that there are 10 Greek characters that are part of the standard GSM 7-bit character set. In order to get a 160 character SMS message, your message must consist only of characters in this standard GSM 7-bit character set. If you use any characters outside of that character set, then your message must be encoded in Unicode, which can only get 70 characters per message.

Anyway, we did have an issue in versions prior to v4.20 where these 10 Greek characters were not encoded in 7-bit form, and that is resolved in v4.20.
