Hi guys . I need u'r help. I am currently using nokia 5800 phone as gsm modem to send and receive sms from client device. Using that modem I am able to send the sms but I am unable to receive sms. I configured my 2-way sms service as following. REG http://122.182.3.147:81/Registration/RegisterApplication.aspx?sender=@@SENDER@@&message=@@FULLSMS@@ and mobile no. but I am not getting any response as i send sms on that particular number. how could use nokia 5800 to receive sms or should I use something differnt GPS modem ? | |||

Hi, Unfortunately, all Nokia Series 60 (Symbian) phones, and all Nokia Series 40 3rd Edition or later, only support sending SMS messages via the GSM modem interface. They don't support receiving SMS messages via the GSM modem interface. If you have to use a phone as a modem, SonyEricsson phones generally have a good full GSM modem implementation (except for the P and X series which use UIQ/Symbian or Windows Mobile).
