Hi,

I assume that these messages are being returned by your provider when you are attempting to send messages? (You see them in the SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG)

You should ask your provider about these errors so that you can understand what limits are imposed by your provider. (These are not limits imposed by NowSMS, they are limits imposed by your service provider.)

Generally speaking, the "throttling" error (also known as ESME_RTHROTTLED) indicates that you are attempting to send messages faster than your service provider will allow you to.

The following article explains how you can configure NowSMS to send messages at exactly the speed limit of your provider:

http://blog.nowsms.com/2008/06/smsc-speed-limits.html

You do need to understand what your provider's limit is, however.

The "Messge Queue full" error, or ESME_RMSGQFUL can have multiple meanings. These are the what we have observed:

This can indicate that the SMPP server has too many queued messages and temporarily cannot accept any more messages.

It can also indicate that the SMPP server has too many messages pending for the specified recipient and will not accept any more messages for this recipient until it is able to deliver messages that are already in the queue to this recipient.

Again, your provider should be able to explain in more detail why this error is being returned, and if there is any action it is possible for you to take. (Usually with message queue full errors, all you can do is retry later.)
