Hi Team We are using NowSMS Gateway Solution, Version 2006.10.31 We are using this for submitting the SMS via API to our Service Provider. While configuring to the HTTPS website its throwing following error 2009-10-20 13:57:31,SAR-919873799883-29-2-1.req,SMTP sender Servicedesk@wnsgs.com to 919873799883,919873799883,Retry Pending - HTTPSMSC: Unable to negotiate SSL/TLS connection to sms2.bsmart.in:443 -- SSL_connect: Error 0 making SSL connection -- HTTP - sms2.bsmart.in:443,SubmitUser=localsystem-mmsc | |||

I tried configuring an HTTP SSL connection to that server in NowSMS, and I'm not seeing any problems. It returns a 404 error (because I'm not a customer and am not using a valid URL format), but the HTTPS part is working fine. Do you still see this error consistently? The provider web site says "coming soon" ... so maybe their system is still a "work in progress" ... -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

That explains it. There has been a bug in quite a few versions of NowSMS that SSL is not supported over an HTTP proxy. We do have an update for more recent versions. But if you're unable to upgrade, you would need to find a way to connect without having to use a proxy. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
