I'm evaluating Now SMS with a Nokia N82. All I want to be able to do is use the SMTP-SMS feature, and seem to be able to send SMS's but don't receive them. All I see is an active bluetooth connection. Any ideas why I'm not receiving the SMS (I can send a SMS from the phone itself to the same recipient without any problems)? TIA, Michael | |||

Hi Michael, Unfortunately, the GSM modem implementation in Nokia phones supports sending messages only. It's the case with all Series 60/Symbian models, as well as all Series 40 models from the 3rd generation or later. There's some good GSM modem information at the following link: http://www.nowsms.com/support/GSMModem.htm The bottom of the page talks about phone modem issues.
