Some SMPP providers do not support delivery reports.

If they support them, they will push them to you with SMPP deliver.

If they don't, you won't receive any.

In cases like this, if you are unsure ... it is a good idea to ask your provider. THEY WILL KNOW whether or not they support delivery reports.

With some providers, it may be an additional configuration option that needs to be enabled for your account on their system. And it might be something that they will want to charge you a higher price for.

The provider sends the deliver_sm to you ... so I don't see how you can add it.

And query_sm is rarely implemented by any providers.

I mean , we can bind as transciever for accepting deliver_sm and connect as transmiter for query_sm . So anyone of these work. Is there any other for delivery_report.

I think while connecting as transcived the bindTransceiver PDU sends some delivery report. WIll it happen?

If you are connecting as a transmitter only, then yes, some SMSCs will not send you delivery reports.

They require either an additional receiver connection, or a transceiver connection for both sending & receiving.
