I have 3 questions: 1. Is there a need for hardware? Meaning do I need to install a GSM Modem on my server in order to use this software or can I use this over IP? 2. Are there fees per message? 3. Hi Marcus, Unless you are using an account with an SMS service provider, then yes, you need a GSM modem. GSM modems tend to be a good solution for many lower volume messaging needs. Whatever fees there are per message are dependent on your SMS service provider, or in the case of a GSM modem, the plan associated with the SIM card in your modem. You need to evaluate different SMS service providers, get quotes ... check customer references. See who has the best pricing/terms/quality of service to best fit your needs in your target countries. There's no one size fits all. Use search terms like SMS aggregator, SMS hub, SMS gateway. | |||
