I have problem with migration of nowsms version 5.51 from win2003 to win2008. I test and add modem to COM1 succesfully but when I try another one test faild and also I cannot connect to webinterface localhost:8800. Have you any idea what to do? | |||

Hi JK, That version of NowSMS was released well before Windows Server 2008 was released. We've never performed compatibility testing of that version of NowSMS with Windows Server 2008. The latest version of NowSMS can be downloaded here from our web site. http://www.nowsms.com/downloads/smsmmsgateway.htm That said, I would suggest that you make sure any modems that you are trying to install are actually accessible from Windows. Specifically, you should be able to access them and perform successful diagnostics under Phone & Modem Options in the Windows Control Panel.
