Hi Guys, I did some changes last week to the ini file, and somehow. now sometimes i received the Operatorid and sometimes not. I dont know why is happening this. any idea of how can i troubleshoot this?? tks | |||

Hi Shade, That is very odd that sometimes it is there and sometimes it is not. What is the frequency of how often it is present, and how often it is not? Does there seem to be any pattern? I can't think of any configuration reason on the NowSMS side why it would sometimes be there and sometimes not. It is more likely that the information is missing when the message arrives. Unfortunately, the only way to troubleshoot that issue is to trap the incoming SMPP feed, so that we can look at the raw message data for a message that is received without the operator id. I'd suggest enabling the SMSDEBUG.LOG. Monitor your system for a received message that is missing the sender id. Then, we're going to try to find the raw SMPP data in the SMPPDEBUG.LOG (the SMPPDEBUG.LOG is automatically enabled when the SMSDEBUG.LOG is enabled). If you need to send me an SMPPDEBUG.LOG, send it to nowsms@nowsms.com with "Attention: Des" in the subject line. And let me know all of the details about the message that is missing the information so that we know what we're trying to find in the SMPPDEBUG.LOG. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
