Somebody tell me that exists a way to obtain the User Agent Profile sending a specific wap push. Is true that?

There is a query defined in the WAP push specifications for this. So that an application could send a query to a WAP push proxy gateway to ask it for the UAProf of the client device.

However, there is no way for the WAP push proxy gateway to ask the client device for its UAProf.

In order to implement this command (which is defined as optional for implementations), the WAP Push Proxy gateway would have to have intercepted a previous request to this device, and saved a copy of the UAProf in a database maintained by the Push Proxy Gateway.

So, basically, what you will find in practice is that most WAP Push Proxy Gateways do not implement this capability.

If you want to know what the device is ... send an initial WAP push (perhaps to welcome the user to your service). And when the user fetches that push, get the "Profile:" string that comes in fro the device ... and you then know what to expect for future requests, unless the user changes their device.
