Hi, I want to try out now sms/mms, however I do not have a traditional gsm/gprs modem. I have a laptop and Nokia 6610 and both support IR. Can any one let me know how to set this up so that I can use my phone as a modem Thanks | |||

I have seen other people using the 6610 as a GSM modem using a USB cable. According to the Nokia web site, it should also work with Infrared. However, there are modem drivers that you must download and install on your PC. Go to the Nokia web site, find the page for the 6610. Select Support & Software, and follow the software links until you see an option to download modem drivers. | |||
