When sending SMS via the SMS/MMS Gateway EMAIL interface, is it possible to prevent the insertion of "/" delimiters between the sender/subject/message body fields ? Can these be turned ON/OFF using an ini file setting ? Basically my application embeds data in an SMS message, so it is important that only the body of the EMAIL message is sent, and it is sent unchanged. For maximum flexibility it would also be good if it was possible to make embedding of the "sender" and "subject" fields in the SMS message optional. | |||

Hi Stephen, It would probably be easiest for us to implement an option where the sender and subject are suppressed. I can see where that would make SMTP more flexible for use as an API. Please send an e-mail to nowsms@now.co.uk referencing this issue, and I will reply back with an update that has a configuration option to only include the message body when routing SMTP to SMS. -bn | |||
