Dear helper,

I want to send Nokia Ringtone. I raed previous thread where u had mension that to send Ringtone, we must convert it to "BINARY" data. So i downloaded a small software from ur recomended link, and now i am confused, which one to convert to BINARY...

Do i need to convert "RTX" enhanced ringtone file or normal "TXT" file where i had load the RTTTL ringtone format.

I tried converting the RTTTL (.TXT) format file into Binary, and i send it to my phone, but, when my phone recived it, it didn't play the music, it shows "New ringtone received" but when i click Play, it return to the menu again...

WHY ?

How to send in binary data ? Which file to be converted ? RTX or TXT(RTTL)

Please help me !

You need to convert the RTTTL format into the Nokia Smart Messaging format. The easiest way to do this is with Mike Kohn's RingtoneTools. The following thread gives an example of converting an RTTTL file to the appropriate format using RingtoneTools:
