i am using nokia n30 as the gsm MODEM, i am having problem sending bulk sms, it is very slow sending sms , only 1 sms for 1 second , any setup wrong? does nowsms program really support fast sending bulk messages . thank you Eli | |||

Hi Eli, One per second sounds very slow. I would recommend that you make sure that you have strong signal strength for the modem's connection to the GSM network, as low signal strength can cause the type of problem that you describe. (For example, a lot of times, servers are deployed in a server room that is deep inside of a building, and the signal strength for a mobile phone is not always very strong in those types of facilities. You may need to relocate the server to an area that is more friendly for signal strength.) I'd like to see a debug log to better understand what is going on. Manually edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] section header, add the statement: Debug=Yes. Then restart the gateway service. Repeat your attempts to send messages, and e-mail the SMSDEBUG.LOG file to nowsms@now.co.uk so that I can take a closer look at it.
