Hi, i am using nowsms, and i am sending an sms that contains æ,ø and å. But when i write these characters the sms shows strange characters. I think i need to set the encoding to unicode, but i am not sure. How do i send æ,ø and å in a sms? | |||

First question, does it work properly when you send it from the NowSMS web interface? If it does, then the issue is that NowSMS expects URL submissions to use UTF-8 (a variation of Unicode) encoding. You can either convert the characters to UTF-8, or you can append "&charset=iso-8859-1" to the URL string to tell NowSMS which character set you are using to specify the message text. If the message is not sent correctly when you send from the web interface, please tell me more about the type of SMSC connection that you are using. -bn | |||
