Hello,

I have 2 diferent Http routes for SMS delivery in NowSMS, and defined that connection #2 to deliver to preferred networks "+35191" and "35191" and the other connection #1 to support any outbound traffic.

All SMS are being sent from connection #1 witch is first on the list of connections. I have tried all types of combinations and it doesent work.

I'm doing something wrong?

Thaks you
Best Regards

Hi NDL,

Do you have a "*" in the text associated with the preferred connection?

That is, do you have "+35191" or "+35191*" specified?

Without the "*", NowSMS only looks for an exact match. (We should probably change this, but our pattern matching logic is picky in this regard.)

Hi Bryce,

Yes we are using a "*" after the "+35191". and both check boxes are verified for route #1 and route #2.

All SMS are going trough route #1 and i have defined preferred route for connection #2 "+35191*" and "35191*" and "91*".

Can you please help me?

Best Regards,
NDL

NDL,

I should probably ask what version of NowSMS you are using. There were some quirks in the original v5.0 release. If you have that version, you should update to v5.51 which is the current download from our web site.

If that is not the issue ...

Could I see some log files from your system?

SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG would be a good start, but I think it would be most helpful to also see an SMSDEBUG.LOG where it shows you submitting some messages. (To enable the creation of SMSDEBUG.LOG, manually edit SMSGW.INI, and under the [SMSGW] section header, add Debug=Yes, then restart the NowSMS SMS gateway service.)

I'd also like to see SMSGW.INI, so that I can determine why things are not working like you expect.

If you don't want to post them here, please e-mail them to nowsms@now.co.uk, and reference this problem.
