Dear all: I need help! I want to send SMS from specific phone number,but I do not have any idea to do it. I did not see any information about send SMS from specific phone number in NOWSMS document. Who can tell me what should I do? Thanks. | |||

Hi Helen, If you are sending messages using a GSM modem, it is not technically possible to change the sender phone number. When sending with a GSM modem, the sender address will always be the phone number associated with the SIM carding the modem. If you are sending messages via another type of SMSC connection, then your provider may have rules about what is allowed in the sender address. From a NowSMS perspective, you set a default sender address for a connection in the properties for the connection in the SMSC list. You can also override the default by using the &Sender= parameter when submitting via a direct URL request. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
