I've just started playing around with NowSMS and am very impressed so far. I set up my siemens SL45 using the supplied data cable and the software detected it as a compatible GSM modem without any problem. I sent a test SMS message to my other phone and, to my amazement, it worked first time! However, when I send a text back to the Siemens, I can't seem to work out how to receive that message back into NowSMS in order to pass it to a PHP page. I've read the 2-way documentation, set the checkbox on the modem properties to 'receive SMS messages', but when I send an SMS it seems to arrive on the phone without being transferred to the application (and consequently running the appropriate command). Anyone got any ideas? Thanks. | |||

Fixed it - for anybody else who might have problems, you need to change the setting under: SMSC -> Siemens SL45 Cable --> Properties --> SMS Message Storage from 'Default' to 'Direct to Modem' | |||
