I want to upgrade our current NOW WAP version. I already obtain the serial key. Can you confirm/check the following steps PROCEDURE : 1. Download the trial latest version from http://www.nowsms.com 2. After the download upgrade the license. To do this just stop the NowWAP service on the Service tab and run the download, do NOT uninstall the current installation. 3. Then restart the service afterwards and the version will be upgraded. -------------------- I want to clarify on Procedure number 1, which one is I needed to download? nowsms-install.exe ? OR wapgw.exe ? Im just confused which is to be use for NowWAP Proxy Is there a chance installation will fail? is their a roll back plan? | |||

Hi Ronald, Sorry that I didn't get to this message over the weekend. The download is at http://www.nowwap.com. (Specifically the form at http://www.nowap.com/downloads) The install is designed to automatically stop and then restart the service automatically when performing the update. However, I usually recommend that you stop the service before running the install. Then restart it afterward. The installation won't fail. However, if the service can't be stopped for some reason, the install may require a server reboot to finish the installation. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

That is correct. Unless you have a WTLS version license as that does not include it. If you a re upgrading a WTLS license, please advise and I will forward a separate ins tall. | |||
