Hello,

I've purchase a Wavecome GSM modem and activated it with T-mobile.

I understand that the sender address field is automatically filled in by the provider using the SIM card mobile #.

Questions:

1) Is there any GSM provider which allows you to set the sender address or it is impossible using a GSM modem?

2) Can you recommend a few SMSC in case I am unable to resolve the sender address issue using my modem?

Thanks.

1.) It is impossible to override the sender address when using a GSM modem. The sender address will always be set to the address of the SMSC.

2.) I try to avoid recommending specific providers. You will find some mention of a few different providers if you search through our discussion boards.
