This question has allready been answered a couple of times, but I've tried evereything suggestted in the threads below and still can't connect. I've signed up to Clickatell and have got the ten free credits. I've set up the nowsms gateway according to http://www.nowsms.com/support/faq.htm#WhatdoIneedtoinstallyoursoftware (replacing the approriate usernames and paaswords with my own) and recieve a dialouge box saying 'http connection ok. send a test message to verify proper configuration'. However, when I try to send a test message using the web interface, nothing happens. I've tried using different variations of my number (0044.. +44.. etc), still nothing. When I check my clickatell balance, it still says I have 10 credits left. Am I missing something obvious here? Sorry to bring back an old subject, but I don't know what else to do.

As an addendum to the above post, when I check the serial# section of the gateway software, it says I have sent 7 messages so far this month, which I have done using the web interface. However, none of these messages have been recieved, or been deducted from my clickatell balance. I have tested the clickatell coverage and recieved confirmation that my mobile (3650) and my provider (vodafone) do work with their credit system. I'm at a loss as to what to check next, please help!

Hi Ben,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you.

I suspect that there is an error in one of the URL template parameters.

The easiest way for us to see what is going on is if you put the gateway into debug mode (manually edit SMSGW.INI, and add Debug=Yes under the [SMSGW] section header, then restart the gateway service).

Repeat your attempt to send a message, and then let's take a look at the SMSDEBUG.LOG. "X" out any references to your Clickatell account information, and post the details from this debug log. We should be able to see what is misconfigured with that.
