Hi Roopa,

You may have to inquire with the SMS provider to ask them why your bind is failing.

Unfortunately, the only error code that we are receiving back is a generic error code indicating that the bind has failed.

If your username and password is correct, then the most likely cause of this problem is one of IP address restrictions on your account. Most SMS service providers will provision accounts so that they can only be connected to from
a particular IP address, so they may not have your account provisioned correctly for the IP address of your system.

Hi roopa..

I have encountered the same problem with one of my client when he is using the now sms smpp client to connect to SMSGateway for pushing messages with the same error "Unable to login to SMPP Server with specified parametersERROR:Bind Failed ",even after creating proper username and password and verifying the same.

I have tried the following option c if that works for you as it worked for my client.

In smpp i guess you have a restriction on the username and password length ,make sure that username and passwd is limited to 9 characters.
(it should be fixed here)

if that doesnt work check if u get any bind error number, if u dont c any error number then u can try with this client software URL that iam psting below if you are downloading a trial version of the smpp client and if you are verifying the connectivity .

http://www.geocities.com/ekorudi/

and dowanlod the first one
Executable file ( 246 KB ). IT worked for me let me know if it worked for you ,it should be fixed at username & passwd (length to 9 characters).
