Hey Bryce,

Having a few issues with a feature that used to work prior to a) me upgrading to 5.5 and b) the 1001 changes I have made to try and fix the problem!!

Basically I am using the keyword feature of the 2WAY settings to generate a response message when an inbound message is recieved by NowSMS. Btw have been using NowSMS for nearly 12 months now and I have met with Keith Norris when I was in the UK in August.

So here is the URL I am sending the info to:

http://apiofmySMSprovide/?from=GirlGoFree&to=@@SENDER@@&text=Dear Girl Go Free reader. Thank you for entering our SMS2WIN competition. Keep your eye out for more fantastic prizes each month in GGF. Good luck!

Now I know it works because I can see the message on the report from my SMS provider however the message is being deliver to the number of my GSM modem (0423 ** ** 09) rather than the inbound sender's number, which in this case is my number.

So all is definitely working in terms of connectivity but it is going to the number of the GSM modem not the number that sent in the SMS in the first place.

Now this all used to work beautifully so either I have changed a setting somewhere along the line and am masking all the inbound messages recieved by my GSM modem, which I doubt because I used NowSMS to deliver a bunch of other stuff which all works a charm. Or I am missing something incredibly obvious and you will point it out for me!

I did try putting in @@RECIP@@ as stated in the documentation, but I got an error saying that wasn't one of the valid commands...

Any light shed on this would be awesome as the above competition goes live, in 2 days!!!

Many thanks,

Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I'm sorry, but I'm not following the logic flow of when exactly that command you reference is being executed.

I'm assuming that it is configured as the 2-way command directly?

That would certainly seem to be correct. The sender's address is going to be put into the @@SENDER@@ field before the command is executed.

I'd probably have to see an SMSDEBUG.LOG to see if that shows any clues.
