Hi,

I can send allmost all the letters I need to send, but some I'm not able to send... Those are all characters with accents.

Some exemples:
"ê", "â", "û"...
I thought I coudl send them by using the Esc-xhar for the extended GSM 03.38 table, followed by the "e", "a" or "u", but this gives me "^e", "^a" and "^u"...

Does anybody knows how to do this?

Please mail me at pietercoucke@hotmail.com

Thanks a lot in advance!

Those characters are not part of the GSM character set table (or the extended table). To send those characters out, the message must be sent in Unicode format.

NowSMS will automatically use Unicode format if you include these characters in your message text. (Just note that NowSMS defaults to assuming that message text is submitted using UTF-8 encoding ... assuming that you submit your text using standard iso-8859-1 encoding, you would need to include "&charset=iso-8859-1" in your message submission URL.)

hi,

I brought a GX-10i off a friend and at first there was a little problem setting the volume on the phone so we tried resetting the phone, no effect, so then we tried a factory reset, since then the phone will not show any names to saved pictures withe camera, show the list of any calls in the call log, sending MMS(I think the above posts will help me in this regard), so has anybody got any ideas
