Hello, I got a problem over here, on the NowSMS gateway trial, I receive messages, and it does not count on "received messages", and dont process them (i checked "process received sms messages") Do anyone know what can be happening? Thank you! | |||

Hi, What is your SMSC connection? I am guessing that it is a GSM modem. Is it a phone being used as a modem? The GSM Modem implementation in many phones is send only. Notable send only implementations are most Nokia devices, and Android devices. To be able to both send and receive, you are best off using a dedicated GSM modem device. There is some more discussion of GSM modem devices here: http://www.nowsms.com/faq/what-is-a-gsm-modem, plus links to info about particular models/manufacturers. If you are using a dedicated GSM modem device, and receiving messages is not working, I would ask that you enable the SMSDEBUG.LOG and reply with it attached, so that I can see how your modem responds to init commands. (This would likely just confirm that the modem does not support receiving SMS on the modem interface. ) -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
