Hello I tried sending a delayed sms in format yyyymmddhhmm e.g 201106181535 and the sms is coming right after sending. I tried 2011-06-18 15:35 and still the sms coming immediately. What am i doing wrong? | |||

Hi, Do you have the same problem if you submit from the web Interface? It would help to determine if the problem is a system level problem, or a problem related to the formatting of your URL request. Note: while the web form says to use a format of yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm, any non-numerical characters are ignored, so use the same yyyymmddhhmm format you have been trying to use. If you also have problems from the web form, check the date/time setting on the PC running NowSMS and verify it is correct. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

You said "web Interface". Where is that? I dindt find any form with delayuntil option. And yes the time is correct. Is there any log to check for? | |||

I'm using SMPP protocol to connect to host. My question is when i'm sending delayuntil , is the server sends the sms to the server or is it holding the sms until the specified time? | |||

I am referring to the NowSMS web interface: http://www.nowsms.com/doc/web-menu-interface It has a delayed delivery option. Please confirm whether or not you also have a problem using the web form "Send Text Message". NowSMS holds the message until this delay until time, and then releases it to any upstream connections after this time. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
