Hi,

Is there a way to forward the "SMSC Name" and "SMSC Route name" to the 2way command URL as a @@Param@@?

Since SMSCRoute can be assigned for more than one SMPP connection, we wanted to get info on which link the incoming message came to the application, while "SMSC route" is useful for sending out the messages.

Regards

Hi Mathew,

The SMSC Route Name is available as @@SMSCROUTE@@. However, the the unique identifying name is not. (As you mention, the route name can be assigned to multiple connections.)

I will add that to the suggestion list for a future update.

I should mention that the new SMSC "Route Name" attribute is the same as the old "RouteName=" parameter that can be configured in SMSGW.INI. We do allow the same route name to be assigned to multiple connections to allow for situations where there are backup connections for the same provider (or otherwise equivalent capability routes).

Thanks Bryce... We look forward to that enhancement.
