Hi Sivaprkasam, Perhaps someone will post a suggestion. I'm not aware of any. EMI/UCP is what I would definitely call a "legacy" protocol. In the early days of SMSCs (early 1990's) there were two main SMSC products, one developed by CMG, which defined the UCP/EMI protocol to interface with the SMSC, and the other developed by Aldiscon which defined the SMPP protocol. Aldiscon was acquired by Logica in 1997. Logica merged with CMG in 2002. By the time of the merger, SMPP was already widely embraced as an industry standard and implemented by many other SMSC vendors, and UCP/EMI began to further die out. (In 2007, the wireless business of LogicaCMG was sold off to investors and became Acision.) What I'm getting at here is that EMI/UCP is really a legacy protocol that is only in use with rather old SMSC systems. As such, there is not much new development happening with that protocol ... and tools that may have been available in the past have faded away, especially as the company that originated the protocol has gone through so many corporate transformations. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
