Dear Support, Hope you're doing well. I need to configure a new mmsc , it means i already had one live and active, need now to put the same configuration for the new one, the problem is each time while configuring the mmsc routing specifically the Verisygn Sunnyvale or Test VAS App i got an error message saying unable to connect to IP which is for the provider, so now i need to know what steps to follow to have this solved asap cause it is very urgent to have this new mmsc configured and alive. Hi, Assuming that you are specifying the same IP, I can only assume that the partner site has IP address restrictions associated with your account, so that you are only allowed to connect from the IP address associated with your existing MMSC. This is a normal security procedure, and you would need to contact the partner(s) to make sure any new IP address had similar access. Of course it is also possible for it to be a local firewall issue on your system, so it is probably also a good idea to verify that your system has the ability to initiate external TCP/IP connections. -- Des NowSMS Support |
