Hi,

Where exactly does this error pop-up?

Can you attach a screen capture?

This doesn't sound like any error message that would be generated by NowSMS.

Does NowSMS show an increasing count of SMS messages received in its statistics? If yes, do you have 2-way commands configured to process received messages? Could your 2-way command be triggering this error?

Follow-up ... are you using a ZTE modem?

I searched the error message that you posted using Google, and most of the results returned refer to problems with the ZTE modem software.

Unfortunately, I don't see any solutions.

I would suggest you remove NowSMS services ... don't uninstall NowSMS, just UNcheck the "run as service" setting(s).

Then remove the ZTE modem and uninstall all ZTE software.

If the uninstall did not require a reboot, I would suggest you reboot the computer at this point.

Check the ZTE web site for updated modem drivers for the model you are using and download them if available.

Re-install the ZTE software (preferably an update if available) and see if this resolves the problem.

Of course, also REcheck "run as service" in NowSMS to start NowSMS running again.

Check for updated modem drivers at the D-Link web site. That error message is not being generated by NowSMS.

It appears the modem driver software from D-Link is crashing.
