Hi Des, I've a question on that tricky parameter, will be that feature work if: 1. "UseRouteQueues=Yes" and strict routing is used? 2. When upstream SMSC accepted a message and then returned error like "EXPIRED"? Regards, Alex K

Hi Alex, 1. Yes. The initial implementation did not, but this was quickly identified as an issue and corrected. 2. No. That was an interesting idea suggested in the other thread about this feature (http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/70549.html), but it is only triggered by a submission failure that directly returns an error response. -- Des NowSMS Support

Hi Des, It would be great if you make an ability to resend messages on submission stage and messages with error statuses. All re-routing logics should be controlled by callbacks. Regards, Alex K.

Just make "ReRouteOnError=Yes" param that means that NowSMS will request callbacks to achive extra routing info. Regards, Alex K.

Hi Alex, We are planning to extend the ReRouteOnError setting to allow rerouting based upon a callback in a future update. However, for the near future, this will only affect messages that are rejected by an upstream SMSC at submission time. -- Des NowSMS Support

Hi Des, Do you have any plans to unite your SQLite engine for DRs and Logs to a single DB like Cassandra? That would make controlling of queue easier (errors handling, resending, faster routing, statistics, traffic details) and much more scalable instead of shared folders . Regards, Alex K. |
