Dear helper...

Actually, i want to send WAP PUSH to my customers. I want to send file like .JPG / .GIF / .MID to my customers phone.

Shall i use SERVICE INDICATOR or SERVICE LOAD ?
Tell me what is the differents ?

currently, i used SI. They receive a SMS showing the URL and they need to retrieve it.
Can i send it without need to be retrieve (auto retrieve or something). If possible, i want to hide the URL from showing to them.

So, how do the SI and SL works basically ?
Which one is effective and most used by the Ringtone/wallpaper seller like : www.ringtone.com

Advance thanks for ur help/advice/guide.

THANK YOU.

SL is designed to load automatically, without the user selecting a link.

However ... SL is not supported by many phones, because, as you can imagine, this could lead to a lot of abuse. (Just imagine that someone sends an SL push that points to a page that keeps refreshing itself. This could lead to significant unexpected GPRS data usage.)

Therefore, even many phones that support SL, still display a prompt before the user retrieves the object. But, SL does not allow any text to be transmitted with the push, therefore the user does not know anything about the push ... which is not very user-friendly.

So, basically SI is what you want to use. SL is only good for very specialised applications.
