Hi Bryce,
I have IIS running as my webserver.
I have 3 polyphonic ringtones 101.mid 102.mid 103.mid hosted on the webserver.
I have a dynamic ip but I am using No-ip dns service which automatically updates my ip to the domain name web.no-ip.com which points to my webserver
Anyone accessing web.no-ip.com automatically connects to my IIS server no matter which IP I am assigned.
I'd like to know how I can configure NowSMS so that users can request the polyphonic ringtone by sending in a keyword with code and they get back the wap push SI message so that they can retrieve the content.
Eg: users can send POLY 101 or POLY 102 or POLY 103 and they get the wap push with the file associated with it
101 - 101.mid
102 - 102.mid
103 - 103.mid
http://web.no-ip.com/101.mid is an example of the url to be posted
How do I send out a wap push automatically with the correct file and url? I can store the url and file information in a db but what format is the push message generated and how do I post it? I also want no user interaction ie no username/password should be asked when I post this push message.

ALso how do I ensure that the user cannot forward the message to his friends?

Another consideration is the URL. I do not want the url to be revealed to the user. Is that possible?

What is forward lock and can it come to play here???

I want to use only wap and not mms to send out the ringtone files.

Can you please help me out as to how to do this with NowSMS?

Thanks

Hi Suvinay,

This is a good question. I want to put together a little more of an example to show how it is done.

Unfortunately, that is going to take a bit of work. So I'm not ignoring this message, I just need to allocate some time to put together a good example.
