Dear Tech Support

- Currently we are using NowSMS v2013.09.26 license at 3sms per second
- our NowSMS is connected to smpp client "cl-1" (inbound)and
SMSC provider "smsc-a" (outbound) with all inbound SMS route to
outbound using SMSSend accounting call-back to route the SMS to smsc-a

What will happned if cl-1 is sending 15 submit_sm per second to NowSMS
- can NowSMS respond back 15 x submit_sm_resp-ok back to cl-1 ?
- will the 3sms per second license limited the handle of cl-1 which is
sending 15 submit_sm in 1 second?
Can you help explain:
- what will happen if cl-1 sending 15sms/sec but NowSMS can only 3sms/sec?
- for this case if NowSMS can only reply 6 submit_sm_resp-ok for all
15 submit_sm in 1 sec, then what will happen to those un-acknowledged
submit_sm?

The client cl-1 (example Vodafone-UK) told us that they are having some
submit_sm sent to NowSMS that are not getting submit_sm_resp-ok
i.e. not properly acknowldeged
- is it because cl-1 is sending far more (15sms/sec)than NowSMS can handle
(3sms/sec) that lead to some submit_sm got un-acknowledge ?
- can we use SMPPServerAsyncWindowSize=20 to resolve the problem ?

Thanks.

Best Regards
Nelson

See my response at http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/72065.html

The more you describe this issue, the more it sounds like accounting callbacks are causing the problem.

If you do not define a receiving speed limit for the client account, NowSMS will always accept the message immediately and return submit_sm_resp, regardless of the product license.

But it does make the accounting callback before it returns submit_sm_resp.

You didn't mention accounting callbacks in this post, but you did in the other post ... so let's continue the discussion there.
