Hi...

"UserQueueSizeThreshold" is the depth that will be processed in a User Queue before processing the next User Queue.

If the NOWSMS engine is 5 msg/sec , UserQueueSizeThreshold = 10

and messages in the User Queue are sent to 2 SMPP links, One of 5 msg/sec and other of 2 msg/sec

Is the performance of NOWSMS Engine limited by the 2 msg/sec link while processing the messages in the User Queue?

i.e. If all 10 are to link of 2 msg/sec, it takes 5 seconds (ideally speaking) to go to next queue or if it were all to link of 5 msg/sec,it could have taken only 2 seconds.

Can u clarify this for a better understanding of the Gateway?

Mathew

Hi Mathew,

Each SMSC connection performs its own queue processing ... independent of what is happening on other SMSC connections.
