Hi Henry, We don't have any experience with that modem. But I would be concerned that if you purchase from AT&T, it would be provisioned only as an internet access device. Depending on what features are supported by the built-in device software, the SIM card that the operator provides for the device may not have SMS support enabled, and will not have MMS support enabled. Working your way through a large mobile operator to get MMS support enabled for a SIM that is used in a device that does not have MMS support can be an exercise in frustration, if not futility. I generally prefer working with an unlocked modem that supports the frequencies supported by the operator, but using a prepaid SIM, or a SIM that is on a phone plan that I know is provisioned with SMS and MMS support. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Awesome. Thank you. I got a prepaid SMS/MMS enabled SIM, just to be safe. Based on your experience, which modem would i be best served using with AT&T (US)? I am currently using the Option ICON 32, but i bought it refurb. It is having some hardware issues and since i am going to have to buy a new one, i may as well get a good recommendation. | |||
