Hi, When user send a sms with length more then 1 (let say 3), nowsms will write to the SMSOUT log file in 3 lines for this particular process. My question is: 1. Is it write each line directly after one part finish sending, then write another line, or ... 2. nowsms waiting until all 3 messages sent, then write to the log (3 lines). Thank you. | |||

Hi Rudy, Sorry for the delay in response. 1 is the correct answer, the SMSOUT record is completed after each part is transmitted. Note that for some SMSC types there are advanced configuration settings that cause NowSMS to transmit multipart messages in a single transaction. In that case, all parts are sent in one transaction and then the SMSOUT logs are written. 1 is still technically true in this case as well as the SMSOUT log entry is not written until the message part has been transmitted successfully. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
