This issue was recently reported in a technical support incident. A customer had enabled SSL/TLS for the SMPP server, but SMPP clients were unable to connect with SSL/TLS. The SMSDEBUG.LOG reported: ThreadProcessSSLSMPPConnection: SSL_accept: Error 0 The problem is resolved by restarting the NowSMS services. SSL/TLS protocols can be used in client mode without a certificate. However, using SSL/TLS protocols in server mode requires a certificate. After generating a certificate, the NowSMS services will not actually use the certificate until the services are restarted. This is why the error occurs. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||
