Hi, Sms are not routed to modem connection although the mobile number is added in the "Preferred SMSC connection for" list. The messages goes to modem only when the user is added only in the modem connection and not added in any other connection. Kindly advice | |||

Hi, The user is added to the modem connection and another connection too. But the modem connection has in addition the mobile number. | |||

Hi, I understand. But the way it is designed is that if a user name is added to a modem, that overrides any sender based routing. In other words, if a user account match occurs, sender address routing is ignored. (Recipient routing still applies.) The reason for this is that he design treats a user match as a sender address watch. I will ask our engineering team to reevaluate this, but it appears to be a complex change. -- Des NowSMS Support | |||

Hi, I added a test smpp connection and added the same mobile numbers and users,the message is routed properly to this new connection ; while if the same configuration for the modem , the message is routed to the old connection that has the same user. This is the configuration for the modem: ReceiveSMS=No ReceiveMMS=No RoutePrefOnly=Yes Route1=123456789 AllowedUserOnly=Yes AllowedUser1=user1 Is there anything I should add in the configuration? | |||

If "user1" is defined for multiple routes, the route with the best recipient (RouteX=) match will be used. If multiple matches, first available. | |||
