Hi

We notice that the time stamp on the entries in the "Event Log" window (Service Tab of NowSMS Admin application) is One hour forward from the server time.

But we notice that the same events logged in the Windows Events, has the same time as of Windows Server.

i.e If
Server time was 13:49:25
Time on NowSMS Event Log entry was 14:49:25
Time stamped in Windows Event Logs 13:49:25

Appreciate your attention.

Mathew

Hi Mathew,

I don't see any discrepancies on any of our servers.

What time zone is the system configured for, and what is the Windows OS version?

Hi,

Was the info/screenshot enough to replicate the anomaly at your end?

Hi Mathew,

We have not been able to recreate. However, we do have a theory about the problem. Another customer in Argentina has reported a similar problem, with an MM9 Diameter protocol timestamp being incorrect by one hour, despite all the time zone settings appearing to be set correctly.

While completely unrelated in functionality, we noticed that both areas relied on similar APIs that we do not use elsewhere for conversions between local time and GMT. So, we changed it.

Try the update at http://www.nowsms.com/download/nowsms20160829.zip and advise if it resolves the issue.
