Hello Guys, I have a problem after making a change. We have a load babalnce environment configured in SHAREDVOLUME.ini file. We decided to stop the load balancing and the shared configuration so we make a modification in the SHAREDVOLUME.ini to point to a local directory. After that I can't see any entries in the SMSOUT log file. but the system continues to send SMS. any ideas? is urgent

Hi, I assume you restarted the services after making that change. Are there LogDirectory= settings in SHAREDVOLUME.INI, SMSGW.INI and/or MMSC.INI? If not, the logs will be in either the program directory or ProgramData\NowSMS I'd suggest opening a command prompt window, cd \ to go to the root directory and issue the command dir smsout*.log /s to try to locate. -- Des NowSMS Support

Hello Des, I found them finally. It was an issue with my application. I have another question though. Is any procedure to move back from a load balnced environment to stand alone, without loosing any configuration (users etc)? Best Regards,

Hi, This article explains all of the files/directories that need to be moved: http://www.nowsms.com/migrating-to-a-multiple-server-mmsc-wap-gateway-or-nowsms- gateway But the easy way is to copy over the entire NowSMS directory to the shared volume. Then delete *.EXE, *.DLL, *.LOG There will be other unused directories/files, but they should not cause confusion. -- Des NowSMS Support
