Hi Gentlemen,

I've crawled through threads but no similar issue was matched.

So, nowSMS server has been set up (Android option), everything went smooth. Sending test SMS reported success. But recipient has not received anything (see attachment). Any clue? Any direction to start troubleshooting?

Hi,

I'm guessing the Android device is off-line. Is it connected to power? Verified the NowSMS Modem app is active?

I'd start with the "Service" page in the NowSMS config.



Where the above says all connections OK, perhaps yours is not finding the modem.

I'd also suggest editing the "SMS Users" account that you are using to login to the web interface, and give your account admin access. This will add a drop down "Admin" menu in the web interface. "Status" displays info similar to the "Service" page that I referenced above. The "Recent System Activity" should also have details about message processing.

The Android device was online. It replied to echo, besides nowSMS program found it automatically from "SMSC connections" view.

Services was started and statistics count appeared valid.

Perhaps I can upload logs? Which ones would you like to see?

Maybe I do not understand what you are saying.

In the statistics, did the "SMS Sent" count increase? Or did the "SMS Failed" count increase?

What does SMSOUT-yyyymmdd.LOG report for the recipient? (Or "Recent System Activity" in the web interface.)

Try sending to the same address from the SMS client on the Android device, does that work? (Should be same as NowSMS.)
