Can I establish a new SMSC connection for sending or receiving only? if so, kindly clarify how can I do that.
I know that I can create a new connection and assign TX and RX, but I am going to separate the same on two different servers and I want to avoid missing messages due to having 2 different connections.
Thanks in advance.

Note that by default, when you define an SMPP SMSC connection, NowSMS creates a separate sender and receiver bind...2 independent SMPP connections. (Unless under Advanced Settings for the connection, transceiver mode is enabled, which allows sending and receiving over the same connection.)

While it is possible to create two separate SMSC connections in NowSMS, and restrict one to sending and one to receiving, I don't see any advantage or reason for doing this...but maybe I am missing something. I would caution that logically separating them as 2 connections in NowSMS is likely to cause problems for delivery reports/receipts...to avoid this issue, assign the same route name to connections to the same SMSC.

If you still wish to proceed with separate send only and receive only connections, see https://www.nowsms.com/smpp-connection-types-sender-receiver-transceiver

Under “Advanced Settings”, “Send and Receive Messages over the same connection” must not be checked.

To define a “receiver” connection only, ensure that the following settings are applied in the properties for the SMPP connection:
In versions 2011.08.10 and later:
“Receive SMS Messages” must be checked.
Under “Advanced Settings”, “Send and Receive Messages over the same connection” must not be checked.
Under “Advanced Settings”, “# Transmitter Sessions” should be set to 0 and “# Receiver Sessions” should be set to 1.
