Hi, I'd like NowSMS to update a file and I'm not sure how to do this. Once a message comes in with the relevant keyword I'd like the information added to an Excel or Access file. I was thinking of writing a VBScript to do this but I don't know how to pass the information to the command.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

I've had a read of another archived post (http://support.nowsms.com/discus/messages/1/333.htm l)
that details how this could be done but I keep coming across an error.
Trying to execute the command from the Run dialog I get this error message 'There is no script engine for file extension ".vbs%07*********".
Instead of @@SENDER@@ I put in a mobile number as a test.
has anyone got any thoughts?
thanks

Kev,

It sounds like there is no space character in your 2-way command definition between ".vbs" and the parameters.

Have you tried running it from a command window to experiment?
