While building an MMS 2Email functionality, how do we control the size of the incoming mms? ALso what about video? Most of the new handsets allow sending video via mms. What if the user sends a video to be sent to an email address using NowSMS? Will NowSMS retrieve the video? What format will it be sent out in?
Here I see aproblem with size of the mms. If a user sends a 10mb video clip, it will put a load on the system. Same with other content like images/audio etc which users can send via MMS.

So how do we control the size of the incoming mms?
Are there some hidden settings?

Thanks

You'd be hard pressed to find a phone that will let you send a 10MB video via MMS. The MMS clients on current phones have rather small limits (it is rare to see support for anything larger than 300KB over MMS).

The video format that is generally used by MMS phones is "video/3gpp". Quicktime and Real Player can generally support this format, but I don't think Windows Media Player can.
