Hi,

I have activated SMTP connection for a userid and allocated 10 credits to the same. When I send messages thru SMPP/HTTP/WEB, it deducts the credits. However when I send Email to SMS, then it ignores the credits and neither checks or deducts the credits from the account. I am using build 5.51.

Please provide a patch ASAP.

Before assuming that this is a bug ... I'm afraid that I need more details about your configuration, and an MMSCDEBUG.LOG would be helpful as well.

It works properly for me in a test here.

However, there are a few things to watch out for...

Make sure that you don't have an "MMSC VASP" account defined with the same name as an "SMS Users" account. The "MMSC VASP" definition will take precedence.

The same goes for an "MMSC VASP" account that is defined as an IP address, as it would take precedence over an "SMS Users" account.

Also, if the recipient user account is defined in the "MMSC Users" list, then this would prevent a charge.

That's why I'd like to see an MMSCDEBUG.LOG, as I could tell from it, when the message is submitted via SMTP, what account NowSMS thinks the message is coming from.

You might also want to try the v5.51a patch (see http://www.nowsms.com/whatsnew.htm), but I don't have any record of problems in this area.
